Joey Tillman - Green Guide, FL Wetlands Master Naturalist, Underwater naturalist, 100tn Master Mariner, Scuba Instructor, Pilot, Paramedic.
Born in Moultrie, raised in Coolidge in the heart of God's country in South Georgia where wildlife abounds and farming is the way of life. Joey received his education from Central High School in Thomasville, joined the USMC and served in Reserves while attending Valdosta State College. Created JT Water Sports Dive Shop in Thomasville and moved to the Bahamas to work for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line for the next 10 years while managing tours and water sport activities in the Caribbean. He married Melanie Avant and began a family with Jimmy, Jordyn and Mason. After working as a yacht captain for a christian ministry, became a FL Master Naturalist, employed as a charter captain and worked as a firefighter/ EMT and Paramedic soon after. Back to the Bahamas as a partner in the creation of the "Eco Adventure Boat Tour" for Royal Caribbean and NCL cruise lines and proposed Agape Christian Youth Camp. Eventually moved to Sopchoppy and is currently employed by Wakulla EMS and volunteers as a firefighter in Sopchoppy.
